I am a Research Scientist in, the group of Prof. Philipp Grohs, Mathematical Data Science at Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics ( RICAM) which is part of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Austria).
I earned my Ph.D. in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the University of Turin, Italy, in March 2019 as part of a joint program between the Polytechnic University and the University of Turin, under the supervision of Prof. Sandro Coriasco. During my Ph.D. studies, I conducted extended research visits to Prof. Joachim Toft at Linnaeus University, Sweden, in 2017 and 2018.
My research interests focus on the mathematical foundations of machine learning, with a particular emphasis on the theoretical understanding of the approximation, representation capabilities, sampling, and complexity of neural networks, both deep and shallow. Additionally, I am passionate about time-frequency analysis, generalized functions, and microlocal analysis.
